V místě bývalé staré pekárny vyrůstá nová hrádecká knihovna. Demolice původního objektu i vytvoření základové desky je hotové. Objekt bude tzv. monolitická stavba. V současnosti vzniká vyléváním betonové směsi do formy tvořené systémovým bedněním. Zvláštností jsou citáty umístěné na zdech. Na vnitřní straně bednění jsou před zalitím betonem upevněny šablony s textem. Po dokončení a odstranění šablon i bednění zůstávají jednotlivá písmena vmáčknutá přímo do zdí objektu. Technologicky se jedná o docela náročný a unikátní proces. Čitelnost písma stavitelé s architektem testovali dopředu na třech vzorcích, aby vybrali nejvhodnější tu variantu.
